Dr. Abid Haseeb is joining Fox Valley Ophthalmology upon completing his Glaucoma Fellowship at the Illinois Eye and Ear Infirmary at the University of Illinois at Chicago — one of the nation's premier centers for ophthalmic training and research. His fellowship experience has equipped him with advanced expertise in the diagnosis and surgical management of glaucoma across all patient populations.
Dr. Haseeb received his undergraduate degree from Brown University in 2016 and his medical degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Medicine in 2021. He completed his ophthalmology residency at Nazareth Hospital in Philadelphia, where he was selected to serve as Chief Resident during his final year — a distinction reflecting both his clinical excellence and the respect of his colleagues and program leadership.
An active researcher and educator, Dr. Haseeb has co-authored multiple peer-reviewed publications in leading ophthalmology journals including Cornea and Ophthalmology Glaucoma, and contributed a chapter on ocular surface disease in childhood glaucoma to an internationally co-authored textbook. His work on ocular surface disease in pediatric glaucoma patients received the Best Pediatric Glaucoma Paper Award at the 2023 AAPOS Annual Meeting.
Dr. Haseeb is committed to providing exceptional, patient-centered care grounded in the belief that every patient deserves to understand their condition and be an active participant in their treatment. He looks forward to bringing his subspecialty expertise to the Fox Valley community.
